Reiki is demon possession?

I just read on wikipedia that reiki is a form of demon possession.

Let me just say that it's a load of crap by an institution that would rather you go to the church for all of your problems.

How can I say this?  It's a story how I stumbled upon reiki.

You see as a over 40 year old man, I was a "born again" Christian all the way back to when I was somewhere around 5 years old.  I was raised in a very conservative protestant house where this kind of stuff is just not talked about.  I didn't know.  This stuff just did not exist in my world.

So in my latter teenage years when I was dealing with my warm hands (which have ALWAYS been unusually warm), I learned that this is typical of someone who manipulates healing (a.k.a. Reiki) energy.  I looked into it to see if there was something that I had or the information I was missing regarding it.

Honestly, there isn't that much that I didn't already know or could be able to do.

Now, I ask you why would a Christian have this energy coming from their hands if they never went through any kind of reiki initiation/ attunement?

I will tell you why, it's because it's not a demonic thing that is the source of the energy.  It comes from God!

One of the things they teach you in reiki training is something called the byosen scan.  I was doing this years before even knowing about reiki.  I never read about it, all I know is that when I finally took a class, I went "oh, is that what it's called, I didn't know".

SO, HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE???

Maybe the demons have been keeping you away from God, did you ever consider that?  Maybe these accusers should quit their bible pounding and start Christian living.

What do you think would happen when you get closer and closer to God?!?

Let me point something out.  When it comes to living like a Christian, you gotta start loving other people... all the time.  You gotta show that you are truly happy and at peace... all the time.  You gotta live like the words of the bible are just a part of you and not just a memory thing... all the time.  Paul talks about fruits of the spirit and honestly, I see "Christians" who are lousy at those things.

Demons suck.  I don't like them.  They are the sticky tar on the shoe of someone who is just trying to walk. This whole idea that reiki is the same thing as demon possession is a "sticky tar on the shoe" kind of item.

So after taking all of the reiki and doing all of the ghost and paranormal stuff, I am still in the same place.  I still believe in Jesus Christ.  I try to live as if he was living in me.  If there's any possession going on, it's Jesus in me.  I would not do what I do if this was not the case.
