Inaudible voices

Inaudible voices lead preacher to tv.

An inaudible voice. Aurally it's something that you can't hear, but I have been trying to find the source of an inaudible voice that speaks during the night. I have been able to avoid the voice by wearing earplugs. Happily, I have had some very peaceful sleep.

Now in researching this, I came across an article from the September 15, 1979 milwaukee sentinel that talks about someone who has literally had inaudible voices speaking to him at night.

The preacher's name is Pat Robertson. As a result he gave up everything he had and started broadcasting on tv because of a voice that was speaking IN HIS HEAD.

You mention that to some christians and they will come to the same conclusion: Demonic Possession.

So, how do you know? Is Robinson a man who was told by the devil to start a TV ministry? Or is God speaking to him?

So at what point does the voice in our head that's talking on its own go from God to devil? Probably when it's more self serving than informative.

It's at this point that I should say that the only way to know for sure is to know one's own thoughts. A tremendously difficult process, which requires you to consciously listen to every thought you have regardless of whether you want to have it or not. By paying attention to every thought, you should be able at some point (after many, many hours) to determine whether a thought comes from you or an external source. This can only be done by constant monitoring and observation. (I call it sin watching, but you can call it whatever you want)

Once you establish the existence of the external thought, you must attempt to converse with it. Understand what it is, why it is, what it wants and why it gave you that thought.

I could understand if someone thinks this is some extension of demonic possession in listening and conversing with a voice that speaks in your head, but until you find a way to isolate the thoughts and confront them then you literally are a slave to them. On the other hand, to say that any voice that isn't yours is satanic, you would then have to say that Pat Robertson's ministry was driven by the devil's hand. I know some people would probably agree with that as well.

To me it's one more example of not seeing the forest because there's too many trees around. We're just hung up on semantics, because we over think the whole thing.

Take Robertson for what he is though, he's successful. All because of an inaudible voice. A voice that he says is from God.

Noise Reduction Addons - A personal perspective

I found a neat little noise reduction VST that I started playing with in Cakewalk Home Studio. Let me say that I have tried the audacity application and the noise reduction tool and I think the free VST I found works a whole lot better.

Now mind you I am still not a fan of noise reduction for audio review for 2 reasons.

1) It garbles the voices and makes the understanding of the audio up to interpretation. Also listening through the audio and picking up on subtle variations becomes much more difficult when the audio is processed via cancellation which is usually what you do to remove noise.

2) You get what you pay for. Free is never THAT good. (unless you're a pirate, then I can't help you there.)

The free VST can be found by searching the VST's on the KVRaudio.com website. http://www.kvraudio.com/get/4153.html Easy to find. The program is superior in that it not only does profiling, but it shows you the resulting settings of the profiling, in case you need to make adjustments. Something you won't find in audacity last I checked.

That being said, I was going over some of the audio that I did find on the lemp mansion audio. Most notably, the time of 5:09:28 contained what I though of as a voice saying "get off the bed". This was following a voice at 5:09:25 which sounds like a child voice saying "get off the bed". This of course is not what I hear when running the audio through the noise reducing software. I'll post the audio, because it's easier to hear because of the software, but what I heard originally, is not what I hear now. In the new audio, you can hear a voice saying "get out". Fairly straight forward, I would think.

Anyway, I am of the mind that you shouldn't rely on just one thing. I mean, if you want to be objective and thorough in your analysis, you can't do that.

I followed audacity back when it was called cool edit. Back when that program originated, cakewalk was in its infancy and windows was in version 3.1. I'm feeling old now.

I would imagine that someone would find a way to isolate just the kind of audio that you're not wanting in the output, but when it comes to ghosts, I just get the itching feeling that the reason we get those sounds is because of that background noise.

I guess it's kind of like how you can trick the eyes to see infrared light. Which I will have to post at another time.

Not the first time,

So last night I was up at one-something in the morning. I had a bit of tummy problems and couldn't sleep. I was about to get up and take something for the pain and such, but as I was about to get up, I saw it.

What is it? Well, the best I can say is that it was white and was an "outline sketch" of a person. I can't confirm it's a person, because my glasses were off, but as I looked at it, the thing moved toward the door in the room and disappeared.

Now, it could have been car lights from outside dancing along the bedroom wall, but at 1 am?!? Anyway, I would think nothing of it, except...

This is not the first time I've seen something like it in the house! I should put a caveat on that, as the first time I saw it, I was not actually in the house. I was outside with the dogs during a lunch break and getting some fresh air.

Anyway, I am standing on the step of the patio out back, and as I looked back toward the house, I saw what I can describe as a white figure leaning forward and looking out the kitchen window at me. As I caught sight of it, it ducked to my left or its right. Now, I could write that off as reflection, except my motion of turning my head and looking toward the window causes all reflections to go the OPPOSITE direction.

The whole thing interests me in two ways. First is that I like to try to understand that kind of stuff that's unknown. I certainly don't know what "it" is. Secondly is that I have had some ghost experiences that give me more questions than answers. By that, I can certainly sense something. It's that light-headed buzzing sensation that feels like I am being pushed to my left side as if hit/smacked in the head. In some way it's similar to being suddenly drunk.

It's the question that propels us forward. It is in understanding ourselves that gives us the drive and ambition to move in a certain direction. If I don't have answers, all I am left with are questions that leave me stagnant and standing in one place.

Now, I don't know why I sense what I do, or what it is I am actually sensing. A search on the internet has proven neither helpful or trustworthy which leads me to think that there's something quite unusual going on.

I do have to apologize to everyone I have ever told the story to, because in recent hindsight, what I said is not true anymore.

It was in college when it happened. I was reading the book of isaiah for old testament class and reading about half the book in one sitting. Anyway, as I was reading around the part where the prophet isaiah was looking on the back of the head of god, I felt something that literally shook my world. It started as an understanding. I could truly understand who god was and why he does what he does. As I did so it felt like there was a powerful presence in the room and I describe it as "it's as if the ceiling opened up and an eye was looking at me". Well, I am going to take that part back, because I didn't have a better way to describe it. Basically I was moved by some spiritual energy, not all that different from my experience in lemp mansion where I can only assume was a ghost near me.

So we can take that in for a second. There was a spirit in my dorm room with me.

I can only use "spirit" as I can't define exactly what causes the sensation. It could be a ghost, an angel, or I don't know. All I can say is that it was something. It defined my beliefs and it gave me a much greater understanding of how it all works "in regards to God". Then again, I could totally be wrong on it all.

If that's the case that I am wrong, then I need to figure this light-headed buzzing thing out sooner than later. It would be a horror to find out that all my simplistic beliefs are a fabricated lie by a malevolent spirit. By that, I mean that my beliefs are that since God is infinite, he must be infinitely complex, which means that as finite beings on this planet, we can't possibly understand or attain what God really wants out of us. In that conclusion, it is by the most simplistic of means and manners that by acceptance of a "gift from god" is all that is required of us.

The way I have been moving through life is that it's almost like I don't even have a control over what happens next. It's akin to sitting in a wagon riding backwards while someone else (say God) is pulling me along. If you were to ask me how I got to where I am, I would have to tell you that I don't know, but it's not by my doing.

It's not exactly comforting knowing that, but then again, it's a difference between a door you have to pull open and those automatic doors at the supermarket. Either the door opens for you as a convenience or you have to take the initiative and open it yourself. I am not sure in the whole scheme of things which one is better. Maybe they both are.

For those who still don't see the face...

Here is the filtered picture that I have cropped to show the area you SHOULD be looking at.

Photobucket

The next picture I have drawn the location of the first face, where the eyes, nose and mouth appear. This was the first face I saw, but does not resemble any family member of those who used to live in Lemp. It was after doing the filtering that I saw this face, but after looking at it more, I saw the second.

Photobucket

This picture shows where to look to see the eyes, nose, mouth and moustache of William Lemp Senior. You should not need to adjust your resolution, but if you can't make it out, then up the brightness a little. The moustache is prominent in the picture.

Photobucket

It is my opinion that the 2nd picture is the face that we are meant to see in the orb. I do apologize for the crudeness of the drawing, but I am not an artist. The eye on the right is the wrong size, sorry.

The Oracle talks to Neo

I wanted to post the entire conversation from the matrix movies where Neo talks to the oracle. So here it is:

The Matrix:

Oracle : I know, you're Neo. Be right with you..
Neo : You're the Oracle?
Oracle : Bingo...
Oracle : Not quite what you were expecting, right?
Oracle : _Al_most done! Smell good, don't they?
Neo : Yeah.
Oracle : I'd ask you to sit down...but you're not going to anyway. And
don't worry about the vase.
Neo : What vase?
Oracle : That vase.
Neo : I'm sorry.
Oracle : I _said_ don't worry about it. I'll get one of my kids to fix it.
Neo : How...how did you know?
Oracle : Ohhh
Oracle : Whats really going to bake your noodle later on is, would you still have broken it if I hadn't said anything...
Oracle : You're cuter than I thought...I can see why she likes you...
Neo : Who?
Oracle : Not too bright though.
Oracle : So what do you think, do you think you're the One?
Neo : I don't know, I honestly don't know.
Oracle : You know what that means? It's Latin. Means 'Know Thyself'... I'm going to let you in on a little secret...Being the One is just like being in love. No one can tell you you're in love, you just know it. Through and through. Balls to bones. Well, I'd better have a look at you.
Oracle : Open your mouth, say 'Ahhh!'
Neo : Ahhh.
Oracle : Okay. Now _I'm_ supposed to say..'Hmm, that's interesting', but then you say...
Neo : But...what?
Oracle : But you already _know_ what I'm going to tell you.
Neo : I'm not The One.....
Oracle : Sorry, kid. You got the gift, but it looks like you're waiting for something...
Neo : What?
Oracle : Your next life maybe, who knows? That's the way these things go.
Neo starts laughing in an ironic manner.
Neo : Morpheus...he, he almost had me convinced...
Oracle : Poor Morpheus...without him...we're lost.
Neo : What do you mean, without him?
Oracle : Are you sure you want to hear this?
Neo nods.
Oracle : Morpheus believes in you, Neo. And no one, not even you, not even _me_, can convince him otherwise. He believes it so blindly, that he's going to sacrifice his life, to save yours.
Neo : What??!
Oracle : You're going to have to make a choice. In one hand, you'll have _Morpheus'_ life..and in the other hand, you'll have your own. One of you is going to die..which one...will be up to you...
Oracle : I'm sorry, kiddo, I really am. You have a good soul...and I hate giving good people bad news....
Neo looks down.
Oracle : Oh, don't worry about it...As soon as you step outside that door, you'll start feeling better. You'll remember you don't belive in any of this fate crap...you're in control of your _own_ life...remember?
Oracle : Here, take a cookie..I promise, by the time you're doneeating it, you'll feel right as rain..

Matrix Reloaded:
The Oracle: Well, come on. I ain't gonna bite ya. Come around here, and let me have a look at ya. My goodness, look at you! You turned out all right, didn't you? How do you feel?
Neo: I, uh...
The Oracle: I know you're not sleeping. We'll get to that. Why don't you come and have a sit this time?
Neo: Maybe I'll stand.
The Oracle: Well, suit yourself.
Neo: I felt like sitting.
The Oracle: I know. So. Let's get the obvious stuff out of the way.
Neo: You're not human, are you?
The Oracle: Well it's tough to get any more obvious than that.
Neo: If I had to guess, I'd say you're a program from the machine world. So is he.
The Oracle: So far, so good.
Neo: But if that's true, that can mean you are a part of this system, another kind of control.
The Oracle: Keep going.
Neo: I suppose the most obvious question is, how can I trust you?
The Oracle: Bingo! It is a pickle, no doubt about it. The bad news is there's no way if you can really know whether I'm here to help you or not. So it's really up to you. You just have to make up your own damn mind to either accept what I'm going to tell you, or reject it. Candy?
Neo: D'you already know if I'm going to take it?
The Oracle: Wouldn't be much of an Oracle if I didn't.
Neo: But if you already know, how can I make a choice?
The Oracle: Because you didn't come here to make the choice, you've already made it. You're here to try to understand why you made it. I thought you'd have figured that out by now.
Neo: Why are you here?
The Oracle: Same reason. I love candy.
Neo: But why help us?
The Oracle: We're all here to do what we're all here to do. I'm interested in one thing, Neo, the future. And believe me, I know - the only way to get there is together.
Neo: Are there other programs like you?
The Oracle: Oh, well, not like me. But... Look, see those birds? At some point a program was written to govern them. A program was written to watch over the trees, and the wind, the sunrise, and sunset. There are programs running all over the place. The ones doing their job, doing what they were meant to do, are invisible. You'd never even know they were here. But the other ones, well, we hear about them all the time.
Neo: I've never heard of them.
The Oracle: Of course you have. Every time you've heard someone say they saw a ghost, or an angel. Every story you've ever heard about vampires, werewolves, or aliens is the system assimilating some program that's doing something they're not supposed to be doing.
Neo: Programs hacking programs. Why?
The Oracle: They have their reasons, but usually a program chooses exile when it faces deletion.
Neo: And why would a program be deleted?
The Oracle: Maybe it breaks down. Maybe a better program is created to replace it - happens all the time, and when it does, a program can either choose to hide here, or return to The Source.
Neo: The machine mainframe?
The Oracle: Yes. Where you must go. Where the path of The One ends. You've seen it, in your dreams, haven't you? The door made of light?
Neo: [nods]
The Oracle: What happens when you go through the door?
Neo: I see Trinity, and something happens, something bad. She starts to fall, and then I wake up.
The Oracle: Do you see her die?
Neo: No.
The Oracle: You have the sight now, Neo. You are looking at the world without time.
Neo: Then why can't I see what happens to her?
The Oracle: We can never see past the choices we don't understand.
Neo: Are you saying I have to choose whether Trinity lives or dies?
The Oracle: No. You've already made the choice, now you have to understand it.
Neo: No, I can't do that. I won't.
The Oracle: You have to.
Neo: Why?
The Oracle: Because you're The One.
Neo: What if I can't? What happens if I fail?
The Oracle: Then Zion will fall. Our time is up. Listen to me, Neo. You can save Zion if you reach The Source, but to do that you will need the Keymaker.
Neo: The Keymaker?
The Oracle: Yes, he disappeared some time ago. We did not know what happened to him until now. He's being held prisoner by a very dangerous program, one of the oldest of us. He is called the Merovingian, and he will not let him go willingly.
Neo: What does he want?
The Oracle: What do all men with power want? More power.
The Oracle: Be there, at that exact time, and you will have a chance.
Seraph: We must go.
The Oracle: Seems like every time we meet I've got nothing but bad news. I'm sorry about that, I surely am. But for what it's worth, you've made a believer out of me. Good luck, kiddo.

Matrix Reloaded:
Oracle: That's it. That's the secret. You've got to use your hands.
Sati: Why?
Oracle: Cookies need love like everything does.
Sati: Neo!
Oracle: I was hoping to have these done before you got here. Oh well. Sati, honey, I think it's time for a tasting. Take the bowl to Seraph and find out if they're ready.
Sati: Okay. *to Neo* I'm glad you got out.
Neo: Me too.
Oracle: So, do you recognize me?
Neo: A part of you.
Oracle: Yeah, that's how it works. Some bits you lose, some bits you keep. I don't yet recognize my face in the mirror, but... I still love candy. *offers Neo a piece of red candy*
Neo: No, thank you.
Oracle: Remember what you were like when you first walked through my door, jittery as a junebug? And now just look at you. You sure did surprise me, Neo, and you still do.
Neo: You gave me a few surprises, too.
Oracle: I hope I helped.
Neo: You helped me to get here, but my question is why? Where does this go? Where does it end?
Oracle: I don't know.
Neo: You don't know or you won't tell me?
Oracle: I told you before. No one can see beyond a choice they don't understand, and I mean no one.
Neo: What choice?
Oracle: It doesn't matter. It's my choice. I have my mind to make up, same as you have yours.
Neo: Does that include what things to tell me and what not to tell me?
Oracle: Of course not.
Neo: Then why didn't you tell me about the Architect? Why didn't you tell me about Zion, the Ones before me - why didn't you tell me the truth?
Oracle: Because it wasn't time for you to know.
Neo: Who decided it wasn't time?
Oracle: You know who. *She points at the Temet Nosce sign above the door*
Neo: I did. *Oracle nods* Then I think it's time for me to know a few more things.
Oracle: So do I.
Neo: Tell me how I separated my mind from my body without jacking in. Tell me how I stopped four sentinels by thinking it. Tell me just what the hell is happening to me.
Oracle: The power of the One extends beyond this world. It reaches from here all the way back to where it came from.
Neo: Where?
Oracle: The Source. That's what you felt when you touched those Sentinels. But you weren't ready for it. You should be dead, but apparently you weren't ready for that, either.
Neo: The Architect told me that if I didn't return to the Source, Zion would be destroyed by midnight tonight.
Oracle: *rolls eyes* Please... You and I may not be able to see beyond our own choices, but that man can't see past any choices.
Neo: Why not?
Oracle: He doesn't understand them - he can't. To him they are variables in an equation. One at a time each variable must be solved and countered. That's his purpose: to balance an equation.
Neo: What's your purpose?
Oracle: To unbalance it.
Neo: Why? What do you want?
Oracle: I want the same thing you want, Neo. And I am willing to go as far as you are to get it.
Neo: The end of the war. *Oracle nods* Is it going to end?
Oracle: One way, or another.
Neo: Can Zion be saved?
Oracle: I'm sorry, I don't have the answer to that question, but if there's an answer, there's only one place you're going to find it.
Neo: Where?
Oracle: You know where. And if you can't find the answer, then I'm afraid there may be no tomorow for any of us.
Neo: What does that mean?
Oracle: Everything that has a beginning has an end. I see the end coming. I see the darkness spreading. I see death. And you are all that stands in his way.
Neo: Smith.
Oracle: *nods* Very soon he's going to have the power to destroy this world, but I believe he won't stop there; he can't. He won't stop until there's nothing left at all.
Neo: What is he?
Oracle: He is you. Your opposite, your negative, the result of the equation trying to balance itself out.
Neo: What if I can't stop him?
Oracle: One way or another, Neo, this war is going to end. Tonight, the future of both worlds will be in your hands... or in his.

7:59:00 - Female voice "You caught me there" or "you got me there"
7:59:22 - Female voice "...king back"

Let me qualify this:
Some voices might be us, but I was wearing a full face cpap mask while sleeping. If I did speak it would sound very muffled. I am able to eliminate many sounds of my wife by timing her snores and such, but a couple of the sounds I am reporting may be her voice. I will point out that I am reporting those voices where I can't tell who is making those sounds.

Since the only thing I am doing is performing equalization, any sound I hear is a result of the recorded audio and not part of some noise based processing. That being said, I am detecting some unusual audio artifacts. This is atypical of a normal recording. It is coming across as either high-frequency blips or low frequency drop outs. My hearing range isn't really great, but I do have a good musical ear, which helps in picking these things out.

It also becomes easier to hear voices after listening to the audio for several minutes. When something shows up in the audio it's easily picked up by the ears due to the fact that it's not the same droning sounds of the background. That being said, the audio still might not be audible for most people to hear, which is why I won't be placing a ton of clips out there for people to listen. I will in the near future post some of the more audible clips.

Dreamstate Observations: March 1, 2010

The bible says that when contacts the prophets, he does so by "Revealing himself in visions and speaking to them in dreams".

Dreams are the key to understanding reality. The problem most people have is that they don't remember them.

Some think that dreams are a way to work through the issues of the day, but what happens after those issues have been resolved by the mind? What happens then?

If you ask me, there's a lot more we don't know about the dreamstate.

Take me for example. I experience deja vu, but the way I experience it, is that I recall from memory having been to a place I have never been to before. To be in a situation I have never been in and to remember that was there. I don't believe this is typical deja vu, because in the typical version the impression is that you feel like you've been there, but never have and no memory of why you think so. I know that I've dreamed my deja vu, and I live in trepidation that at some point the memories don't occur anymore.

Now, I have been able to observe a couple of things during sleep that I want to pass along, and then follow up with some dreams I have had lately. Maybe someone will happen upon this entry and provide a new insight.

First of all, let me say that I consider water to be the lubrication of the sleep state. If you wake up in the night and can't sleep, you should get up and get some water. Couldn't hurt.

Secondly, if you are consistently waken up at certain periods of time, there is a reason for it. By accident I have found out that soft foam earplugs are effective, meaning that by elimination that something/someone is audibly waking me up.

Third, the position that you sleep in, determines the mental aspect of the dream. I have determined that the degree of positioning to the side will affect the intensity whether the dream is negative (when I lay on my left side) or positive (when I lay on my right). Laying on one's back is difficult because it is not a natural sleeping position, but in terms of dreamstate, being flat on your back will give you the most informative dream and the most emotionally neutral. This is of course by observation and may differ by individual.

Now, I have had a couple of strange dreams in the past couple of weeks and I am presenting two of them for you now.

The first is this image of a really tall building. As you can see it's got a set of "fins" on the top. I didn't get the scale right, but it's mammoth in size. The road is very long and completely straight leading to some kind of entrance. I feel like this place is some kind of museum of sorts, but I don't know what kind of museum or what it's in reference to. The circle in the picture was my way of representing the people walking to and from the building. The road is not heavily populated, but then again, it's suspended in the sky. I want to say the main part of the building is clear like glass, but that's not necessarily correct.

This second image, I had last night. I did have time to put more information into what I saw, because it's quite unusual. I think that's the only reason I remember it. The sky was a dark gray color and almost ashy. The building looks a lot like someone's fern or houseplant in the picture, but you need to step back and imagine it as a solid mass in the center and black as can be.

It was not the only building that looked like that as there were others across the landscape. However, it was massive and it's NOT organic.

I haven't been wearing my earplugs for the past couple of nights and i've been waking up at 4:04 am. As a programmer and computer user, I find this both humorous and disturbing. (error 404?!?)
